Day Twenty-Three is the Law of Paradox. Problems here are worked out between right and wrong, truth and error — conscientious → careful → complete. The left hand holds what you could do: the envisioned scenario, Day Eight's possibility, the opener's gift. The right hand holds what you should do: God's intelligence and the directive of the highest plan, including what you have not seen yet. Careful is not afraid; careful is precise. Complete is not perfect; complete is exact — a promise delivered to the last letter.
Today's practice — Flip the coin
Take one thing you are certain about today. Write the certainty on one side of a page and its honest opposite on the other.
Do not resolve it. Read both until you can say what each one protects. That is where conscience gets its hearing.
You walk out of the Room of Two Faces still holding both — what you could do in the left hand, what you should do in the right — and a promise between them you intend to deliver entire.
